Delivery and Seeding

FHI's sales teams are specially trained to help growers in their seeding operations upon delivery.  FHI strictly follows an acclimatization process during seeding. Their methods ensure that temperature and salinity levels in the fry bag are slowly modified to match those of the pond, pen or cage that the fry or fingerlings are being seeded into.  This minimizes the stress on the fry and fingerlings, and enhance survival rates as well.

From FHI’s hatchery operation in Alabel, Sarangani province, its sales and distribution network reaches out far and wide to growers all over the Philippines.  Its sales offices located in Manila, Bacolod, Iloilo, General Santos enable deliveries to our customers in the following area across the country: Pangasinan, Pampanga, Tuguegarao, Laoag, Laguna, Bulacan, Quezon, Palawan, Mindoro, Romblon, Marinduque, Calbayog, Catarman, Sorsogon, Legaspi, Dumaguete, Naga, Masbate, Cebu, Davao, Tacloban, Tagbilaran, Cagayan De Oro, and Zamboanga.

Today, Sarangani Fry supplies more than 50 percent of total national demand, estimated to be 2.5 billion bangus fry per year.
